I wrote this diary — I/P Posting: How not to get kicked out in your first comment — almost four years ago, and I don’t think the rules on Israel/Palestine diaries have changed that much since then. The discussion there was interesting, and I suspect it still might be, even though/especially because we’ve had a long hiatus around the topic.
For those of you who have trouble with the graphic, here’s the text version:
Israel/Palestine Diaries:
A brief guide to the Perils and Pitfalls of Commenting for New Users.
- Any comparison to Nazi Germany or the Holocaust is strictly prohibited.
- Slurs on the race or religion of any side will not be tolerated.
- If you wish to make statements about any outside involvement, please make sure you include links that fully support your claims.
- Threats of violence, even heartfelt wishes of violence against any party are against site policy.
- Nakba denial is prohibited, as is implying that someone is a terrorist or terrorist-lover.
There’s much more in the original, including comments and such by Meteor Blades. Enjoy!
