I live about half an hour from the Santa Fe high school where 10 people — 9 students and a teacher — were murdered by a right-wing terrorist disturbed young man with mental health issues. Not two hours ago I was walking my dog in sight of the hospital where several of the injured are being treated, and something that looked like a cross between a hummer and an army Jeep drives by flying ^THIS.^ I say “drove by,” but he was actually stuck in traffic; I’ve never been so tempted to commit an act of vandalism in my life. Unfortunately, I didn’t have my phone with me, so I couldn’t take a pic or call the police. I don’t know what else to say — I’m still so angry I feel physically ill. Sorry about the short diary; I just needed to get this off my chest. I’d also appreciate some advice about what to do the next time something like this happens. Because I definitely learned one thing: from now on, I take my phone with me every time I leave the house, even if I’m just taking out the garbage. Every. G*damn. Time.
Edit: I’m literally leaving right now to donate blood at the aforementioned hospital, so I will respond to comments as soon as I get back.

Thank you to everyone who voted and wrote comments; circumstances beyond my control prevented me from responding until now. The consensus seems to be overwhelmingly in favor of posting pics to social media.
On a happier note, the line for the blood drive nearly filled the hospital lobby; they had to turn us late-comers away because they had already signed up all the people they could process. My faith in humanity is (somewhat) restored.
