So, I had a recent idea for a painting and I started it on Monday. It was going to be one of my usual absurdist humor pieces, but after the events of the past week, it began to take on a life of its own. It is meant to be uplifting, inspirational, hopeful and a bit humorous. It also strives to mock the very personification of indecency and inhumanity we are currently faced with. I hope I at least succeeded in some small way. "No te rindas" (translated "Don't Give Up") 20" x 20" oil on canvas. Hat tip to Stanley Kubrick.
