Trump gave up a golf day to try to rouse the NV GOP.
LAS VEGAS - President Donald Trump will be in Las Vegas on Saturday to headline the Nevada Republican Party's convention and appear at a fundraiser with Nevada Republican Sen. Dean Heller.
The Nevada Republican Party confirmed Monday that the president would be speaking at the event at the Suncoast hotel-casino in northwest Las Vegas.
Heller's campaign spokesman Keith Schipper confirmed the president would also appear at a fundraiser for the senator. A time and location for the private event have not yet been released.
An invitation for the fundraiser offers donors a private photo reception with the president for $15,000 and a private roundtable with Trump for $50,000.

The usual spins apply as Trump goes back to DC for golf day #118 on Sunday.
There are Nevadans who don't want the silver state to resemble its western neighbor, contrasting so-called Nevada values against those of the "progressive coastal elites" is a way to portray Jacky Rosen as dissimilar to regular Nevadans.
But Republicans disdain Democrats for engaging in what they call class warfare, yet they appear to be doing that with their strategy because they imply that Rosen, who has lived in southern Nevada for 35 years and once worked as a waitress to help pay for college at the University of Minnesota Minneapolis, is an outsider among her constituents.
Heller, by the way, graduated from the University of Southern California.
Rosen's campaign said in a statement, that "Senator Heller is desperately trying to distract from the fact that he's been getting outraised by his challenger and that he's a creature of Washington, caving to President Trump and Mitch McConnell and selling his vote to corporate CEOs and D.C. special interests."
