An Emerson College national poll out today shows that voters prefer Democratic Congressional candidates by 49% to 42% for this fall’s election.
In the Midwest, Democratic candidates are doing far better and are leading by 52% to 34%. Emerson suggests this is do to Midwestern voters being less pleased with the economy than voters in other regions.
It is notable the Donald Trump won the electoral vote by narrowly winning Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania. The Midwest also seems to be taking the biggest hits in Trump’s Trade Wars.
