I have a shed that I keep stuff I seldom use and don’t want in the garage. I went out to the shed to get a rake, opened the door and was greeted by a swam of wasp. The doors on the shed do not seal very tightly and I have had issues with these asshole bugs in the past, lucky not stung. I thought I had found the perfect cure 2 years ago by putting a box of mouth crystals in the shed during the end of march. It worked for 2 years, now not so much.
I really wanted the rake so I got the can of bugbegone and put on a leather jack and gloves, sprayed the hell out of the nest. I killed a lot of them but not all, there a still enough around that I never got the rake.:(
So I did what I should have done in the first place, checked online to see how to get rid of these SOB’s. Turns out that I should have waited for the first thing in the a.m. when they are all in the nest.
I am not a Doctor but I know that stings can put people into anaphylactic shock that can kill them. I am not sure about this, but I think a person can be stung X amount of times without going into shock, then there is the last one, and a trip to ER. I would like to have a anti shock epi-pen at home but Doc’s say no until there is a reaction.
Anyway here is the advise I should have followed in the first place, and if you know you are allergic let some one else deal with it,…...”Be Careful out there”
