Donald Trump is constantly belittling the news media and reporters, making journalists’ jobs much more difficult. Every single day on Twitter Trump angrily brands any reporter who doesn’t write favorably about him a member of “The Fake News Media.”
Today, a self-proclaimed critic of the “Fake News Media” took to Twitter, to announce he had just stumbled across HuffPost and Saturday Evening Post contributor’s Jack Bristow’s cellphone in the park. Apparently Bristow, 32—a writer and Lyme disease activist—lost the phone near a park bench. “I was going to return the phone to Jack,” said the man in the video. “Now, however, I’ve decided I’m going to to throw the phone into the lake,” the man confessed, after admitting he peaked inside the phone and discovered Bristow had contributed to the HuffPost—or, as the man put it, “fake news media.”
This is silly and absurd. I mean, taunting a guy after keeping his phone? You can’t get more pathetic than that.
