I ordered a reusable bag with a very cool print of a stylized Aussie Cattle Dog by an artist named Russo. My Saturday morning breakfast BFF gave me one of another type dog a couple of months ago that is drop dead gorgeous and then I saw this one.
As you can see by Itzl's concerned look, this group is for us to check in at to let people know we are alive, doing OK, and not affected by such things as heat, blizzards, floods, wild fires, hurricanes, tornadoes, power outages, or other such things that could keep us off DKos. It's also so we can find other Kossacks nearby for in-person checks when other methods of communication fail - a buddy system. Members come here to check in. If you're not here, or anywhere else on DKos, and there are adverse conditions in your area (floods, heatwaves, hurricanes, etc.), we and your buddy are going to check up on you. If you are going to be away from your computer for a day or a week, let us know here. We care!
IAN is a great group to join, and a good place to learn to write diaries. Drop one of us a PM to be added to the Itzl Alert Network anytime! We all share the publishing duties, and we welcome everyone who reads IAN to write diaries for the group! Every member is an editor, so anyone can take a turn when they have something to say, photos and music to share, a cause to promote or news!

So, two Friday’s I got an email saying my bag had been delivered to the mail box at 315p. I had no package in the box. I sent the email back, saying, oh no. Since then, I discovered that somehow the street name on the delivery was wrong although the name and the street numbers were correct.
After a littla back and forth with the seller, who has been very nice this whole time, they suggested I check with the Post Office. I had been reading the updates online but went in to ask what they might be able to do for me.
The supervisor pulled up a picture of my package from the tracking id and a GPS location of where it was delivered. He could read the wrong street on the package. He then texted the employee who drove that area and asked her to go to the address and try to recover the package. This was one week after the delivery. He told her to take it to my house if she got it back and sent me home.
½ hour later, she came to my house with the package! It had not been opened or returned to the Post Office so I have no idea what had been going on with it but it got to me! I was very happy to get it and pleased that the PO did such a good job of getting it back. I did not have to go to the guy’s house myself, punch him in the mush and demand my package.
So, three cheers for the PO!
How has your day been?
