Have a silly travel story to share?
As we go to press, all systems are go for my yoga retreat to Morocco. I am scheduled to leave SFO Sunday afternoon and spend a few days in Paris before heading off to Marrakesh. Hard to believe — I’ve spent the last ten months or so trying to figure out ways to get out of it, starting ten minutes after I forked over the deposit. But that’s a tendency I have with most things in life: a fear of moving outside my comfort zone.
I’m reading that Paris weather in late September/October is similar to the Bay Area: 70s in the day, 50s in the evening. Marrakesh will be 80s and 60s.
I’ve got my clothes for both locales spread out on the bed in the guest room.
What kind of packer are you?
Organized and coordinated or someone like me who starts out with the best intentions of traveling light yet somehow always ends up with too much stuff and no room to pick up souvenirs or gifts.

Drop by and tell us about your weather, your garden, or what you cooked for supper. Newcomers may notice that many who post diaries and comments in this series already know one another to some degree, but we welcome guests at our kitchen table, and hope to make some new friends as well. |
