I attended the huge quit show at Santa Clara, CA this weekend. The Pacific International Quilt Festival or PIQF has amazing quilts on display. Here are a few of my favorites. You’ll probably see more in later diaries. I thought it would be fun to find tweets that correspond to the quilts.
DK Quilt Guild is a place for quilters to gather, share ideas, projects, and to make the world a better place, one quilt at a time. Join us and share your thoughts, projects, questions, and tips. Quilters here are at many different levels of skill. Beginners and non-quilters are welcome, too.
This darling quilt was part of the Special Exhibit ~ Cherrywood Fabrics~ The Van Gogh Quilt Challenge~ Dutch Gallery held at the Pacific International Quilt Festival. I am a huge animal fan especially cute dogs.
Unwritten Daily Kos Rule, most community diaries should include a cat aka pootie.
This floral quilt was stunning, and was one of my favorites.
I love the movement, and homage to the Art Deco Style.
A lovely Red & White Traditional Quilt with a whimsical title.

Here is the Best of Show at the Pacific International Quilt Festival. It’s a huge quilt, and is exquisite. I’ve included some detail photos too.
We NEED writers! Your diary can be elaborate and full of photos, a simple story of your own quilting history or that of someone you love, a discussion of a current project or a technique you're learning, new adventures... You could post quilt retreat-day recipes (things like crockpot meals, so food appears without much attention from you)... We could do show and tell or open thread, also, but either way, we need diarists to host. It is EASY if you're willing to take the chance. Please join in! Please volunteer within the comments or you can send Pam from Calif a kosmail.
