I just started reading “A World of Hurt” by Bo Hathaway… a book i did no know if I would like or not when I first picked it up, but so far i would suggest it to people who want to read a compelling novel about the War in Vietnam.
Although it was written in 1984 and can be hard to find, I got lucky and got it via a donation of books that someone gave to me.
The synopsis:
A gripping account of the Vietnam War, as seen through the eyes of two Green Berets looking for action, records the disintegration of their friendship, their minds, and their bodies as their tour of duty progresses
I am about half-way thru it and strongly suggest you try to pick it up if you can find a copy.
How about you, reading anything that you would recommend to the community?
