Former President George H.W. Bush’s funeral is to be held at 11 AM ET on Wednesday at the Washington National Cathedral (which will be familiar to many viewers as the site of the late Sen. John McCain’s recent funeral service).
The funeral is planned to run around an hour and a half, with tributes by presidential historian Jon Meacham, former prime minister of Canada Brian Mulroney, and Bush’s presidential son George W. In addition to the tributes, there will a number of hymns, rituals conducted by clergy, and readings given by Lauren Bush Lauren and Ashley Walker Bush and Jenna Bush Hager.
Donald Trump will be present but will not speak.
The U.S. Postal Service has suspended delivery for the day in honor of Bush.
