Don’t run for President if you can’t win your home state.
Don’t run for President if you can serve us better in the House or Senate.
Don’t run for President if you lost your last election. The American people have had enough of losers.
Don’t run for President if you’re too old; this election is about the future not the past.
Don’t run for President if you’re a billionaire. Billionaires have ruined this country; should we then turn to one to fix it? And one of the most pressing tasks of the next decade will be to claw back for the American people the wealth of which they have been cheated by this robber class.
Don’t let the media pick our next President. The corporate media need to be shut out of our primary process, lest we end up with a nominee like Trump.
I’d like to see a governor with a solid track record as our nominee, someone who could more easily deliver on his or her promises than a legislator. Legislating and governing are very different jobs, and I don’t think we can afford a President who has to learn on the job the basics of governing.
Thoughts, anyone?
