These days I don’t get anywhere near the amount of junk mail/phishing attempts that I used to get a few years ago, so when I get them I like to get a laugh from how pathetic they are. they usually originate from Africa these days, and give themselves away with their ludicrous claims and atrocious English.
This one today is a genuine rarity...seemingly crafted by a native English speaker (though there are some mistakes, capitalisation ones mainly); claiming to come from the U.S., though the e-mail address is in the U.K.
To be honest, if anyone falls for this kind of baloney, I don’t have too much sympathy as they must be dimmer than Dumpy’s sons. That well-known altruist Mr. Zuckerberg whipped up a lottery connected to F.B. but didn’t advertise it there or anywhere else? HIGHLY likely!
Maybe I should get into this biz; I can be a pretty convincing liar when I need to be!
Oh, and the mail picture was done with Windows Snipping Tool so don’t worry, the links aren’t “live”.
