This tweet now makes more sense.
According to Emily Jane Fox of Vanity Fair, Michael Cohen, “president” Trump’s former fixer, has documented evidence that Trump knew about the payment for a poll-rigging scheme meant to make Trump seem like a more appealing candidate during the 2016 presidential campaign.
Fox does acknowledge that Cohen has lied to her and other reporters in the past about information, but she makes a very good point in this case: Cohen is going to prison in part for lying under oath. It would be incredibly stupid for him to do that again in February, when he testifies to Congress. In other words, the disgraced Trump loyalist has nothing to lose.
I’m so looking forward to Michael Cohen’s testimony to Congress in February. It is shaping up to be a blockbuster event. The walls are closing in on Individual-1.
