Okay, just a quick tutorial and then on to the signs. Any time you can see bushes or a hedge up against fencing on the freeway side of a parking lot, that means you can drive up to it in the parking lot, place the sign between the hedge and the fence and drive away. You barely have to leave your car.
Next, on divided highways, anything you can see from opposing lanes that’s in a blind to the traffic on the same side is golden, particularly where exits/turnarounds are few and far between, like this on Highway 93 out of Half Moon Bay.
Such a great spot… but nothing but bushes to attach any signs to! No problem! Using nothing but duct tape, wire coathangers, and the sturdy, light miracle that is coroplast (that plastic cardboard they make campaign signs from,) bushes are enough!
Again, you barely have to leave your car.
