We’re not the only ones who want to see Robert Mueller’s full report—as opposed to Bill Barr’s summary (or the Barr Report). Roger Stone wants to see it as well.
Stone has pleaded not guilty to charges he lied to Congress, engaged in witness tampering and obstructed a congressional investigation into possible coordination between Russia and Donald Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign. In a court filing late Friday night, his lawyers said Stone is entitled to see the confidential report — which was submitted to the attorney general late last month — because it would help prove their allegation that there are constitutional issues with the investigation.
You sure you want to see that report, Roger? After all, you stand charged with collaborating with WikiLeaks to obtain hacked DNC emails. The indictment also strongly suggests that the claims about Hillary’s health were part of a Russian disinformation campaign.
In his bid to bolster his defense, Stone may be asking for information that could torpedo it.
