One of my favorite characters these last couple years has been Seth Abramson. I know, his name appears here a lot. And thanks Kos for turning me on to him. Check out today's thread, as he really has his work cut out for him. Translating the report can’t be easy.
A couple things stand out to me. First, we are going to have to build our own black board two stories high to fit all the glossy color photographs with the circles and arrows and a paragraph on the back just to catalog the Russians that we never knew existed, and some of them don’t exist any more. So, the body count will climb. Thank goodness no one on this side of the pond has turned up in the morgue. But there’s stuff Seth is talking about that shows just how serious Putin has taken this thing. Scary stuff, indeed.
Second. Anything that dribbles out of Barr’s mouth from here on out should be trusted like a rabid penguin that your stuck on an iceberg with. There is no way for him to sound like anything but a Agent 45 lapdog when he defends his and tRumps actions. It sounds like he did his best to appear independent, but when he thinks independence goes hand in hand with party loyalty, his credibility is gone. I’ve never seen an AG that talked like they just came out of the Party Convention stoked out of their gourd on enthusiasm, champagne and really good coke. He’s not yelling and screaming, but you can tell he wants to.
The Atlantic is reporting that Mueller was never going to charge Individual One with anything. It wasn’t in his power to do so. The intent was to give it to Congress. They are the only ones with the power to do so. Kinda makes me feel that I had it wrong all along. At one point I had no problem with putting Mueller on Mount Rushmore if he served Justice to the rat bastards that deserve it. But he only took out the open and shut cases. I didn’t know he knew how to dunk. The truly nasty stuff had to be handed over to Congress, as that’s the only constitutional way to get the Orange Road Apple out of office.
It might take a day or two for Seth to filter out the static, but we are finally going to be able to connect the dots with the Papadopoulos’, Gates and Clovis’. oh my.
