The Democratic Party of Santa Fe County hosted a review of the 2019 New Mexico Legislative Session with Senate Majority Leader Peter Wirth (D) and Speaker of the House Brian Egolf (D) along with five additional Democratic Party Legislators. After a session that resulted in the passage of same-day voter registration, background-checks, and substantial new funding for education, all agreed that legislative life in the new (engaged) Administration of Democratic Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham was wonderful! Not surprising when you recognize that previous Republican Governor Susanna Martinez simply ignored the Democratic Legislature and wielded her veto power furiously, and even illegally, at times.
The entire review event is on Video on YouTube, in 7 segments as follows:

Audience Q&A
Looks like New Mexico is really poised to leverage Democratic control for some positive change. I’m dreaming that at some point we could replicate this rational, Democratic Administration and Legislature at the National level. But then again here comes another Tweet!
