How is it that AG Barr — whom in his latest sworn testimony before Congress claimed he was unaware that Bob Mueller had any issues with his (Barr’s) assessment of the Special Counsel’s (Mueller’s) report — is portrayed as having made ‘misleading’ comments, when in fact — based on today’s reporting that Mueller had already sent a letter to Barr detailing his disagreement with Barr’s 4-page summary letter — when it was, in fact a blatant lie to Congress?
Barr obviously not only knew that Mueller had objections to Barr’s summary letter, Mueller had actually put his objections in writing and sent those objections in his letter to Barr, which Barr already had in his possession when Senator Van Hollen asked Barr if he was aware of any misgivings Mueller might have about the Barr summary letter.
The Dems need to underscore this unforgivable behavior by the AG as exactly what it is: A blatant LIE to the US Congress — not just a ‘misleading’ comment!
