Jacob Wohl isn’t acting like a guy who is facing at least one and perhaps two federal criminal investigations, along with one state criminal investigation. Just yesterday, for instance, he was in Washington, hanging out with Mark Levin.
When I saw this, I was reminded of a question fellow Kossack Limelite asked in my post declaring Wohl a clear and present danger to any civilized society. That is, who’s bankrolling him?
It’s a fair question. Remember, Wohl doesn’t have a day job. It was highly unlikely any legitimate employer would hire him after he was banned from futures trading for life for refusing to cooperate with an investigation into his shady trading practices. And anyone who would be willing to take a chance on him even after that would be foolish to do so now. This is a guy who tried to recruit innocent third parties into schemes to frame Robert Mueller and Pete Buttigeg for sexual assault, talked himself into a ban from Twitter for announcing plans to create a botnet, and used one of his Twitter bots to send himself a death threat.
So who is playing Robert and Rebekah Mercer to Wohl’s Milo? It’s not likely that it’s his so-called father, David. After all, no lawyer—not even a lawyer in Southern California—makes nearly enough to finance a professional troll.
We may find that answer very soon, given that the FBI is investigating his frame-up of Mueller and is almost certain to be investigating his frame-up of Mayor Pete, and that Minnesota law enforcement is investigating his false police report. But whoever is financing him deserves, at the very least, to be held up for public ridicule. We must make sure that whoever is funding Wohl becomes as infamous as he is, and that they pay the full price for bankrolling this noxious troll.
