I can’t get what I saw on the back of a truck out of my head: “Easily pissed. Armed heavily” etched permanently. Who would tatoo his truck with these words? Who would announce to the world that he is a person who is easily pissed and ready and willing to shoot you if you piss him off? I imagined a dialogue with this person:
So what do you mean by “Easily pissed. Armed heavily”?
What do you mean, what do I mean?
I mean, what are you trying to tell the world? What are you trying to say?
Don’t fuck with me.
That’s what you mean?
I mean don’t fuck with me.
Right, but what about being armed heavily? Do you mean if you get pissed off you will shoot?
Only if you really piss me off. Keep talking and find out.
Would you really shoot me if I pissed you off?
Try me, asshole.
This truck owner doesn’t have “reasons” he is aware of for doing what he does. He’s not someone who considers his actions or the words he uses. He just acts. He just talks. There’s no observing self who poses questions about right or wrong, good or bad, and especially no questions about “why?” He is essentially unconscious, and what passes for his “consciousness” is the programming of hate and fear he’s been fed his entire life.
Those rallygoers in Florida who laughed along with their hero about shooting immigrants included a lot of men who may not have “Easily pissed. Armed heavily” written on the back of their trucks, but they are just as unconscious. I’ve seen so many of the faces of those rallygoers over the past few years, and they all have the same blankness. They just do what they’re directed to do, and say what they’ve been programmed to say. They react as one. Say the word, “Hillary,” and they all immediately chant “Lock her up”; someone shouts, “shoot the immigrants,” and they all laugh.
Why did you laugh when someone said to shoot the immigrants?
Because it was funny.
So it’s funny to shoot people?
No, I mean, they’re criminals; they don’t belong here; no one wants them here, so yeah, go ahead and shoot them.
But that’s funny? To kill people?
Well, it’s not funny, but they shouldn’t be trying to come here.
So they deserve to be shot?
Yes, if they keep trying to come and won’t stop, shoot them.
Would you laugh if you were there watching them get shot?
Of course I wouldn’t.
So why did you laugh?
I don’t know; everyone else was laughing. It was funny.
Nadler along with House Intelligence chair Adam Schiff have both expressed concern impeachment would be “seen by a substantial part of the country as merely an effort to nullify an election by other means,” as Schiff put it.
There’s no point in being concerned about what these people supposedly “see” or “think,” because they don’t see or think. Nothing done by Democrats is going to result in their seeing or thinking anything. They are unconscious, fully programmed, and impervious to influence from the outside. So get on with what has to be done and don’t stop to consider what the 40% may think, because they don’t think anything.
