Let’s start with the comics section…
When I got old enough to read the newspaper, I always wanted to read the “funny pages”. Unfortunately, my father always did the crossword puzzle (which was on the same page). He did it in ink (which translates into “takes forever”). Usually, the comics were a few days old by the time I got to read them, but they were still good. There was Beetle Bailey and Little Orphan Annie. Gasoline Alley and Peanuts. Blondie and Dick Tracy.
I no longer subscribe to a print newspaper, but the following comics are quite good and they’re about cats and dogs.
Who is better to understand a cat owner than another cat owner? Compared to other pets, felines are quite something and if you just got one, well, you won't be the one setting boundaries. You'll be the one obeying your new master. Cody Stone Stowe got a cat a couple of years ago and he started making comics about them at the same time. Naturally, cats and comics go together like HBO's Game of Thrones and disappointment, so Coral, his little furball, soon became the star of his series. www.boredpanda.com/…
Cat lovers and dog lovers unite with duo Pixie and Brutus – the webcomic series that follows a tiny, joyful, energetic kitten, and her large, scar-faced German Shepherd companion. Cartoonist and creator, Ben Hed, told Bored Panda that the animal adventures began as a random comic idea. but that people really liked the series so he kept it up. Now Pixie and Brutus have an Instagram following of 1.7m and their playful, humorous, sweet storylines continue to bring them joy. Whether you have seen their comic strip before or are new to the world of this unlikely friendship, these mischevious pets are sure to bring a smile to your face. www.boredpanda.com/…
We all know how much the Ancient Egyptians loved their cats; it’s somehow comforting to know that even 5000 years ago people were making and sharing cat pics with each other. But were those cats the same as the felines that we share our lives with today? www.boredpanda.com/…
When it comes to witty comments and sassy remarks, some Disney characters are absolute pros. If they're taking too much sh*t, they let everyone know about it and never miss the opportunity to come up with the most savage comeback if others throw something their way. These insults are usually family friendly so you might've missed them but don't worry, we've collected the best of them in one place, creating sort of a Disney vocabulary you can use in nearly any situation. www.boredpanda.com/...
