Former Vice President Biden is far from my top choices for the nomination for a number of policy-related reasons I won’t go into here.
But his campaign is correct in its response to Trump’s alliance with a genocidal dictator to attack Biden.
“The president’s comments are beneath the dignity of the office,” Kate Bedingfield, the former vice president’s deputy campaign manager, said in a written statement. “To be on foreign soil, on Memorial Day, and to side repeatedly with a murderous dictator against a fellow American and former Vice President speaks for itself. And it’s part of a pattern of embracing autocrats at the expense of our institutions – whether taking Putin’s word at face value in Helsinki or exchanging ‘love letters’ with Kim Jong Un.”

Trump also attributed Biden-hatred to the Japanese government.
On this, we should ally against Trump.
And then back to primary wars over policy.
