“If we had confidence that the president did not commit a crime, we would have said so.” The investigation is complete; all the evidence of interference by Russians is before you. “While my hands are tied when it comes to indicting the Conspirator-in-Chief, I have indicted the Russian co-conspirators.” Now, tell me how one avoids acknowledging that a conspiracy takes two to tango: a) Individual 1; and b) Russian Others. If “b” is indicted “a” must be, too.
The ball is in your court, Nancy Pelosi. If the Constitution is to survive, it is imperative that “other branches of government, not the Justice Department,” take the next step on the clear path to justice that lies before you.
There is also no question that obstruction occurred and continues to occur by this Administration. Barr is corrupt, Republicans are corrupt, the president is corrupt. Media are corrupt. A significant proportion of the American public is corrupt. Corruption exists only in the dark corners of government; it hides under the table; sequesters in closets; and sweeps under rugs. There is only one way to defeat corruption — that is to shine a light on corrupt acts and people who engage in them.
Mueller and his legal team have turned on the light. The roaches have scattered to the corners, the closets, and under the rugs. It is up to Congress to exercise its power and crush the roaches under its feet.
Legal recourse is there. Take it up.
The Special Counsel has told all and the American people have heard all. “I have no confidence that President Trump is innocent of the crimes of collusion with Russians to undermine our electoral integrity and have no confidence that President Trump is innocent of obstruction of justice, including everything from taking bribes, paying off witnesses, tampering with evidence, and suborning perjury.”
Impeach Donald Trump. I am tired of being slapped in the face by a family of two-bit criminals and their criminal cabal. I am outraged that Republicans continue to be allowed to destroy American democracy. Don’t let this be the time where we fail Benjamin Franklin’s warning about the government created by the Founding Fathers in 1776. What kind of government do Democrats want, anyway?
“A republic, if you can keep it." Really?
