Caturday just gone was the day the Northern Hemisphere Moondai Furkids long for in Winter: the Summer Solstice. This is a day weeklong celebration for them and their favorite song to mark the occasion is by one of their favorite groups: The Beatles.
A lovely man called George gave the Furkids the coins for the jukebox this week. When I remarked that he looked rather pale and… well, translucent... the furkids cackled, chirped, baa’d, moo’d, woofed, purred etc (it can get pretty noisy round here) and told me, “That’s because he’s a ghost, silly!” Right, yes, of course it is. All ready? Okay! Here comes the sun!
