The results are in. Our Greyroots Action activists have spoken, and have given Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D, MA) a solid lead in our presidential preference poll.
Warren got a solid 32.1%, with Sen. Bernie Sanders (D, VT) coming in second at 22.7%.
Even though thousands of our members participated, this is a very unscientific poll. But it does give us a snapshot of what progressive American elders are thinking in July. We’ll be taking at least one more poll this year before we make a decision about endorsing a candidate and how we will support that candidate.
In the meantime, we will continue building our network of progressive American elders, and we will be working in special elections as they come up (e.g., we’re working right now in NC-9, Dan McCready).
Together we will win.
