Maybe I am showing my age here, but after growing up in the 1970s I can identify with the 6 Million Dollar Man...aka the Bionic Man.
I have so many medical pieces of equipment I am not sure if I am still human or not.
I have a heart loop recorder to monitor my heart issues...a heart stent after my heart attack… a VNS to help prevent my seizures and a spinal simulator that sends signals up the spine to block pain receptors from reaching the brain.
I soon will be getting a new hip, more than likely, to complete the new me.
Ugh.
I am writing this today since I just got the spinal simulator put in and I can feel the electrical impulses shooting up from the device...which is making me feel it. (I could have a version in which I would not feel the impulses but knowing my luck I feel that if I was not feeling the impulses it would indicate it is not working so I opted to feel it when it was working.
So… how about you? Do you have enough wires/leads/devices in you to make you feel like if you go even close to a metal detector you will activate it?
