Thanks to everyone who sent prayers and thoughts. I'm still in the hospital, and I'm doing this on my phone, so please forgive spelling errors and formatting problems.
This morning Kim woke up feeling weak, which is normal, but just before noon she started having difficulty breathing and her lips turned blue. That's when I drove her to the hospital. After a bunch of tests, the ER docs thought it was myocarditis and transferred her to our main hospital. After more tests they think it probably isn't myocarditis, but there is swelling, probably related to the cardiotoxicity she's been experiencing with the chemo.
They want to keep her overnight because they want to keep her sedated for a while yet, and run more tests.
They're probably going to put her on steroids and heart medication for the swelling and reduced function.
I'll be here online a lot tonight I think. I'm not leaving her side right now. Our children are fine, and i spoke to them on the phone just a few minutes ago.
We'll get through this, I know. Please pray, though. I'm a bit scared right now.
Love to you all
Callum (and Kim)
