In a horrifying twist to the United States' betrayal of our allies in Syria, Business Insider is following up on reporting by the New York Times that the United States shared intelligence from Syria during the planning process of Turkey's ongoing attack on Syrian Kurds as part of an intelligence sharing agreement intended to help Turkey with a domestic Kurdish separatist group.
This intelligence sharing continued even after Trump announced the withdrawal of US troops from the border and only stopped immediately before Turkey began it's military assault.
