DK Quilt Guild: A place for quilters to gather, share ideas, projects, and to make the world a better place, one quilt at a time. Join us and share your thoughts, projects, questions, and tips. Quilters here are at many different levels of skill. Beginners and non-quilters are welcome, too.
We NEED diarists!
Your diary can be elaborate and full of photos, a simple story of your own quilting history or that of someone you love, a discussion of a current project or a technique you're learning, new adventures... You could post quilt retreat-day recipes (things like crockpot meals, so food appears without much attention from you)...
We could do show and tell or open thread, also, but either way, we need diarists to host. It is EASY if you're willing to take the chance.

Prince Rogers Nelson was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota in 1958. A son of a pianist and a jazz singer, he wrote his first song when he was just seven years old. Prince was a musical innovator who was known for his eclectic work, flamboyant stage presence, extravagant dress and makeup, and wide vocal range. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2004. He has sold over 100 million records worldwide, making him one of the best-selling music artists of all time...
Goal of the Challenge: Our challenge is to take inspiration from Prince's music, style, movies, and distinct look to create your own unique quilt using a limited color palette: our gorgeous hand dyed fabric in saturated purples...
To honor Prince's philanthropic history, Cherrywood is proud to have donated $1000 to The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and $200 The Crossing Arts Alliance in honor of this challenge.
The Prince Cherrywood Quilt Challenge Quilts were shown at the Pacific International Quilt Festival a few weeks ago as a special exhibit. I was amazed by the sheer talent at the PIQF Quilt Show. All of these quilts are 20” square; mini master pieces. There are more beautiful Prince quilts in my Flickr account. Let's look at the wonderful Prince quilts.
Please enjoy the sheer talent of Prince
