My apologies if this has been shared in any form. I found the following story deeply disturbing, albeit not surprising. With so many crimes committed almost daily by our unleader, it is unfortunate that many stories do not make news outlets coverage. It is important to remind Americans that our country still suffers from a serious case of racism. Although a big side effect of racism is that one does not tend to admit, nor notice they are suffering from racism (aka denial), stories such as the following may have some affect on those racists not also suffering from sociopathy,
Newly released jail surveillance footage shows nine days of medical neglect that led to 27-year-old Hardel Sherrell’s death inside of Beltrami County, Minnesota Jail last September. Nine days of public official’s neglect, nine days of Hardel Sherrell nearly begging for medical attention while in serious pain, now seen on video and heard on audio recorded in a telephone call to his mother during those horrific nine days. Hardel apparently died in jail from Guillain-Barré Syndrome.

Hardel, is a father to three daughters and, was in jail on a gun charge, awaiting court proceedings. He was transferred from Dakota County Jail to Beltrami County Jail on August 24, 2018.
He died in a jail cell nine days later.
During his incarceration, doctors, nurses, and correctional officers all assumed Hardel was “faking it” in his requests for medical care. He repeatedly reached out to ask for medical treatment as his body was shutting down due to an undiagnosed Guillain-Barré, a rare syndrome that attacks one’s nervous system.
Hardel was the third death at Beltrami County in three years. His mother, Del Shea Perry, is suing 29 individual health care workers and corrections officers. Other defendants in this lawsuit include Beltrami County and its employees, Sanford Health, and MEnD Correctional Care.
I look forward to a day when everything is brighter, a day when every one of us is treated equal. The gift of sight is amazing, it allows us to see our surrounding environment and earths real beauty. It is so sad that such a gift is also used to “judge” others.
That hope of different days is what keeps many, not suffering from sociopathy, moving forward.
I am truly sorry for your loss Ms. Perry.
