I was trying to think of a way to get people to realize the sheer magnitude of Trump’s dishonesty, corruption, and hate.
I think whoever wins the Democratic nomination should publish 3 books (available online of course, as well as printed).
The Book of Lies would list all of Trump’s lies, with sources that refute them. For instance, his lie about the inauguration crowd would come with the actual pictures that show his statements were false. A large number of his lies could be refuted by pictures or videos, or by conservative sources, such as the Wall Street Journal.
The Book of Corruption would list all of Trump’s corrupt acts throughout his life, and the corruption of his appointees in the Government and employees of the Trump Organization. The Mueller report would document many of these, such as the Stormy Daniels payoff. But there are many others beyond that. The sexual assault accusations would be in here as examples of moral corruption.
The Book of Hate would list all the examples of hatred towards people from Trump. There are so many examples, from his attack on the Central Park Five to his labeling of Mexican immigrants as drug dealers and rapists to the infamous “lock her up” and “send them back” chants. The sheer volume of such things would demonstrate that hate is not an occasional aberration, but a basic part of his character.
The campaign could be filled with references to these books. Imagine after a debate, any lies from Trump that he already had said could be referred to simply as “lie number 4089 from the book”. New lies could be greeted by announcements that they were added to the book. The campaign could send out from these books a Lie of the Day, a Corrupt Act of the Day, a Hateful Act of the Day. Maybe picked at random.
These books would not be static. Trump would be adding to them all the time. During the campaign especially the volume of lies would be very high.
The only problem is that these books would be so big that multiple volumes would be required, especially for the lies. A lot of crowd sourcing would be required to gather and fact check them.
But the unwieldy size would just reinforce the point, Donald Trump is a dishonest, corrupt, and hateful man who should not be in a position of power.
