By golly, I think I’ve got it. With pencil in hand and a light to see with- dots are connecting. I watched "The Family," written by Jeff Sharlet, on Netflix, which is full of “aha!" revelations; like finding a smoking gun in a hallowed-out Bible. The Bill of Rights is sacrosanct and written in stone in theory because for quite some time, a cabal of men have incorporated their systemic will upon a free nation; the First Amendment is as solid as an iceberg in global warming and if we don’t fight like Hell to protect it, whatever democracy is left will just melt away.
Although questions have been answered, many more questions are left because like Scientology, the power of secrecy is difficult to infiltrate- by design; to date, “C Street" remains a cloaked dagger. But an egg has cracked and inquiry minds want to know. We do have tools at our disposal and really intelligent, stealth, patriotic people on the scented trail and what once wasn’t even a discussion is now out in the open- but they need our help to give as good as we get. "The Family" is not Hollywood hyperbole; it is truth stranger than fiction because to believe that this could happen in America, is like finding out that there is no Santa Claus.
