Survey/USA Analysis California Poll
"Biden in CA continues to perform well among heterogeneous CA's non-white voters: Biden today leads among Latinos, as he has in 5 consecutive SurveyUSA primary polls of the state. Biden today leads among Asian voters, 2:1 atop Warren and 3:1 atop Yang. And Biden does well among African Americans, though of potential great significance nationwide, if not necessarily in California, Biden today does not finish first among black voters for the first time this election cycle. In SurveyUSA's most recent pre-Thanksgiving poll, when United States Senator from California Kamala Harris was still actively campaigning, Harris, who is black, got 17% of the black vote, behind Biden at 32% and Sanders at 19%. Today, with CA's Harris no longer running and not offered as a choice by SurveyUSA, and black candidate Cory Booker no longer on the ballot, Sanders' support among African American voters doubles to 43%, where Sanders now leads, while Biden's support among black voters remains effectively unchanged, at 33%. Among white likely Democratic Primary voters, Biden (26%) and Warren (25%) run effectively even.
* In households with at least one LGBTQ individual, Buttigieg leads, though barely.
* In households with a child under the age of 18, Warren leads, though barely.
* In military households, Biden leads.
* In union households, Biden leads.
* Among independents, who are eligible to vote in CA's primary, Sanders leads.
* Among voters with a high-school education, Biden edges Sanders 4:3.
* Among voters with a 4-year college degree, Biden and Warren run effectively even.
* Among those who attend religious services regularly, Biden leads decisively.
* Among Catholics, Biden leads Sanders 2:1.
* Among Protestants, Biden leads Sanders 3:2.
* In greater Los Angeles, there is clear separation between Biden (31%), Sanders (24%) and Warren (18%).
* But in the Bay Area, the contest is a 3-way tie. "
