The bullet points to me — “the turtle does not have the money to back you GOP senators— and I know your pollsters — they are talking to me, know the internals” — my condensed take on this.
This is the actual twitter feed.

1/ Today’s list of insanely dumb Senate GOP conceits
- “Motions to table” votes for the Trump coverup can be waved off as mere procedural votes is laughable. Trust me, when the ads come - and they are coming - voters *will* believe you were voting on the substance.
2/ - If you think saying “Well, I didn’t vote for witnesses and evidence at first because I thought I’d get a chance to vote later in favor of it. Who knew McConnell would pull the rug out from underneath me?!” is even remotely believable, you belong in an asylum, not the Senate
3/ In public and private polls in Senate swing re-elect states voters favor hearing testimony and witnesses by essentially 3 to 1 margins.
I also happen to know several of your own pollsters are pulling their hair out.
Mitchs promises of $ < voter anger.
4/ actual quote from GOP Senate staffer: “ Trump needs to keep his mouth shut and let Mitch do the job. We think he well.”
Bless your heart.
Trump is (as predicted) *admitting* to obstruction of justice. It never gets better, and he never shuts up. (He predicted this yesterday)
5/ “McConnell will cover us.” You better be damn sure you have the money in the bank, because that peanut butter is going to get spread awful thin.
6/ “No one cares.” “No one’s watching these dumb hearings.“ “This is all a liberal conspiracy.” “The president can cover all this with executive power.”
The 1974 Watergate GOP Nixon defenders called and they want their weak talking points back.
PS: ‘74 GOP -49 House -8 Senate (gop losses)
7/ “We had to follow the Clinton precedent” is another line that combines being a lie, being an obvious lie, and being a dumb, obvious lie. Good luck selling that to voters.
8/ I could go on, but I have my country's 500th anniversary to plan, my wedding to arrange, my wife to murder, and Guilder to frame for it. I'm swamped.
This guy is so hysterically funny and sarcastic — just love reading him. Sure glad we are on the same side!!
