Fox News Poll finds that 50% of registered voters want the Senate to remove Donald Trump from office and 44% want him to remain.
On impeachment, by a 50-44 percent margin, voters think the Senate should vote to convict Trump and remove him from office. Most Democrats say remove (81 percent) and most Republicans disagree (84 percent). Among independents, more say Trump should be removed by a 19-point margin (53-34 percent).
The respondents rate the economy as good or excellent by 55% to 44%, but rate Trump poorly on every other issue surveyed.
More disapprove than approve of his job performance on every other issue tested on the poll. He’s underwater on guns (42 percent approve, 51 percent disapprove), immigration (41-56), foreign policy (40-56), health care (38-54), government spending (37-55), race relations (37-56), and the environment (35-57).
This poll is very similar to two other polls released last week. Both CNN’s Poll and Pew Research found 51% wanted Trump convicted.
