Daily Kos Supports Elizabeth Warren
Based on kos’s polls, a majority of core members of Daily Kos support Elizabeth Warren for President. After he posts a poll, Elizabeth's numbers are usually near or over 50% for a couple of hours — Frequent visitors to Daily Kos vote first. But after a few hours, the results shift because messages go out on social media and by by email asking online supporters of candidates to vote (and there is nothing wrong with that).
Democrats in one of Michigan’s top presidential battleground counties [Macomb, just north of Detroit] expressed their support for U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., as early voting is underway in the March primary.
U.S. Rep. Andy Levin, D-Bloomfield Township, said Warren is the best choice for Democrats seeking to win back Macomb County, one of the key swing areas that put President Donald Trump in the White House in 2016. Macomb County Democratic Party Chair Ed Bruley also endorsed Warren this week and was included on a list of Michigan surrogates released by the Progressive Change Campaign Committee Monday.
If you are not in Iowa, you can call into Iowa from anywhere …
Sign up for a call shift, 1-3 hours. One call to an 800 number, automatic dialing from there, only speaking to Democrats, no arguing. I don’t call it making phone calls, it’s making friends.

nailbender: “I can’t wait to see if she follows up yesterday’s scorching question that Roberts read to the country with some kind of tactical brilliance today. I don’t think that statement was a one-off, IOW. I think it was a preamble.”
Kahlil Gibran: “Work is love made visible.” [I’ve quoted Kahlil in comments several times. This quote seems appropriate today.]

‘My biases are clear—I’ve made it clear from the very beginning that we will do best in 2020 if we have a woman leading the ticket. After Harris’ premature exit from the race, Warren is the party’s best bet to nominate someone reflective of the party’s base. But her ability to consolidate the left will depend for the most part on her performance in the early states, and that is unfortunate.’ [kos, 12/31/2019]
‘Buckle down, people, and prepare to fight like never before. Everything is on the line this year. Everything.’ [kos, 1/7/2020]

Community Notes
The Daily Kos group EWarren2020 supports Senator Warren’s campaign. We avoid engaging in negativity about other candidates in the 2020 Democratic presidential primary. Everyone is welcome in our diaries. However, we don’t welcome petty bickering about or personal attacks on candidates.
In the words of one of our favorite Kosacks, newpioneer, "We're not responsible for the actions of others who may offend, insult, or attempt to sow discord and disunity — that’s on them. We are responsible for our own words and actions — that’s 100% on us."
We ask all group members, supporters of Elizabeth Warren, and people interested in both her campaign and Democratic Party unity to ignore negativity from other campaigns' supporters. As Michelle Obama said, "When they go low, we go high." Let's respond to negativity with respect and humor, and let’s create peace. Recipes and cat pictures may help, too [smile]. "Doing no harm costs us nothing ... pie fights will cost us everything." [newpioneer]
We plan to do as much as we can to support Elizabeth Warren in the primary, and we are going to support our ultimate Democratic nominee.
This is a group diary.
[I salute and thank newpioneer for the quotes and concepts of this entire section. ~2t]
This goes without saying:
A Little Question: What If?
What if histories of the future reveal that readers and members of Daily Kos provided the sparks of enthusiasm and effective effort that ignited Elizabeth Warren's campaign? What if?
Elizabeth needs our support NOW.
I posted a similar diary this morning. This one is for my West Coast friends.
Power with, not power over,
2thanks
