I don’t care if there is already a diary about this, there should be 50. This woman should not only not be running for president, she should also be primaried for her next senate bid, and well, other things too. Amy something something, I was a prosecutor, and have the highest turnover rate of staff in the senate because I am so likable, went on national television to use a non-derogatory term in a pro-derogatory manner, because nothing spells winning huge in November like the verbal cutting down of a democratic primary current front runner.
Apparently this happened days ago, but I dont follow amy something something, and I just learned of it tonight while watching my local news. This clip of amy has gone viral on Sinclair’s local network news around the country and will be probably be played everyday until November. Great job amy something something, I bet you had a blast calling Bernie a socialist. But let me tell you something, this will do NOTHING to change his current support in the party, but may well have a lasting effect in November, on us winning “big”. Which ironically, is the entire reason you said it.
In an interview with CBS's Ed O'Keetfe, Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Amy Klobuchar explained why she is "troubled" by the idea of Bernie Sanders leading the Democratic ticket in November.
ED O'KEEFE, CBS NEWS: In Friday night's debate, you were the only one who raised their hand when you were asked if you had concerns about the potential of a self-described Democratic Socialist atop the Democratic Party in November's election. Elaborate again on why you're concerned about Bernie Sanders.
AMY KLOBUCHAR: Why I raised my hand? The question should be why didn't everyone else raise their hand? But they didn't, because people are looking at each other, and it may not be popular, and you're going to anger some people, but I believe in leading and doing what you think is right, and that's why I raised my hand, because I am troubled by having a socialist lead our ticket.
I like Bernie, we are friends. He would tell you that as well. We have worked together on prescription drug prices and the like. But I think a candidate like me, who is able to actually bring in ideas and get them done, and as I've said so many times, people are tired of the extremes in our politics and the noise and the nonsense, that they have a home with me. That to me is the ticket of winning big.
O'KEEFE: Can those freshmen members of Congress in Michigan, Minnesota, and Pennsylvania get elected again if Bernie Sanders is the nominee?
KLOBUCHAR: I think it will be a lot tougher. I'm not going to be a pundit and make predictions, but when you look at the models of, say, how we won the governor's race in Kentucky, where Mitch McConnell now has a Democratic governor, how we flipped the Senate and the House in the state of Virginia... Those candidates, they weren't celebrities, they were simply good people who fit their state or district and pledge to do the work for the people...
I don't want to spoil that.
You’re an idiot amy something and I am starting to wonder if Putin is in your pocket now too.
