Tonight from Politico we have this article regarding Sanders and his supporters and their treatment of union leaders, while still believing it may be bots also.
"I will condemn absolutely anybody, including my campaign or any other campaign, that makes vicious personal attacks against people,” the Democratic presidential candidate said in a CNN town hall. “I don’t tolerate ugly attacks against anybody.”
“I have a hard time understanding, given my views, which everybody knows, how anybody who thinks they are supporting me would do some ugly and terrible things,” Sanders said.
He suggested that bots or people seeking to divide the progressive movement could be responsible for some of the messages from purported Sanders supporters.
“I am the strongest, perhaps lifetime, supporter of unions in the United States Congress. The idea that anybody who works with me would make a vicious attack against a union leader, just because we disagree on an issue, is incomprehensible to me,” Sanders said. “And you know what? I’m just not sure that that’s true.”

Ok how about those attacks when Warren was endorsed by the Working Families party were they just made up? Well this is probably as close as Sanders can admit it is time to reign in his supporters not matter how small a group it may be their megaphones are very loud.
From the Working Families Party
These incredible leaders who led an organization to take a risk by lifting up the leadership of Black, Latinx, Asian and Pacific Islander and white communities in coalescing around a candidate with enough time to engage their communities deeply ahead of the 2020 election, are being threatened on a daily basis, by self-identified Sanders supporters, with hateful, violent and racist threats. “Uncle Tom.” “Slave.” “Cunt.” These kinds of threats have no place in our movements, and are reminiscent of the threats Black people would receive when daring to vote even though the white supremacists would try and discourage Black people from doing so.
We refuse to concede to white terror from the Left as well as the Right. We can argue about the differences between Sanders and Warren, but not if we can’t be distinguished from our real opposition.
As Black leaders in this movement, we are calling on each other to keep reaching for each other, even when it gets hard, even when we disagree, even when we’re disappointed. We demand that the Sanders campaign unequivocally denounce the racism in its ranks, and issue a public statement separating themselves from these abhorrent attacks. And we call on our movement to recommit to the real fight ahead of us. Democracy isn’t built in a day, and the WFP will need us, Sanders supporters and Warren supporters, to come together to defeat one of the most serious threats to peace and justice in our lifetimes. We cannot wait to make justice real amongst the resisters — our lives literally depend on each other.
Splinter News article
Anyway we finally have this strong statement in reference to at least unions this evening the night before the debate.
“And anybody out there — anybody out there who claims to be a Bernie Sanders supporter, we work with the unions,” Sanders continued. “This is a union-led campaign. We believe in unions. We will never attack union leadership, and we will not attack people on a personal basis. We can have a debate about the issues, but I do not believe in online bullying. End of discussion.”
Good for Sanders. While these followers and supporters are most likely a small minority they have large megaphones amplified by the internet and are hurting the Sanders campaign. I hope they listen.
