Just a quick report from a small northern Nevada precinct during today’s caucus:
Our precinct is allocated 6 delegates
Those who came in person to vote - in order of most to least in round 1
1. Pete
2. Elizabeth
3. Bernie
4. Tom
5. Joe
There were no other in person voter for the other candidates.
Pete & Liz were the only viable candidates to reach the 15% threshold with both in person and early voting tallies in round 1 for our precinct.
After realignment:
1. Pete — received 1 crossover (1 from Bernie)
2. Liz — received 2 crossovers (1 from Bernie, 1 from Biden)
3. Uncommited — 5 crossovers
After the realignment in both in person & early voting — Pete received 4 delegates & Liz received 2.
Not surprised about the Pete turnout. There is a high number of vets in this area who normally would be GOP but see Trump as the biggest threat to the US and truly fear another four years.
Biden was going to be a hit or miss but was really surprised at the low Bernie turnout. Definitely thought he would have gotten at least one delegate.
