Living on an island is a double edged sword. If the ships stop coming with supplies, things will get desperate in a hurry. On the other hand, what other state can Pretty much totally shut it down.
As soon as they work out the logistics, both returning residents and visitors (who usually only come for about 7-10 days) will have to quarantine themselves for 14 days upon arrival.
That effectively means no more vectors coming into the island, while we try to get a handle on the small but (like everywhere else) exponentially growing number of cases we already have.
Not much more to say at this point.
Wish us well.
