"Bernie has a lot of very strong and ardent followers." -Joe Biden.
It seems to me that Joe is doing something very wise and unifying in his diplomacy and caution in his approach to courting the support of the progressive wing. He's understands how important progressive votes are, and he is acting with appropriate care in this regard.
"I have a lot of respect for [Senator Sanders] and I think there ought to be a way we can accommodate his concerns..." -Biden
Now, if some people could take a lesson from Joe about the value building bridges, instead of burning them, and respecting political allies, we would all be much stronger (and I think happier, too!)
So on that note I will open the floor to any suggestions anyone might have concerning how Biden and his people can work to accomodate Bernie's concerns, and truly inspire the progressive wing to support him wholeheartedly, and, beyond just voting for him, throw every ounce of the full weight of the progressive movement behind Joe's campaign, if he is to be the Democratic candidate.
I would like, especially, to hear from Sanders supporters on this. Joe wants to accomodate the concerns of Bernie and the movement he leads. How can he do so in ways which will inspire your confidence and trust?
