As I noted a few days ago, instead of tracking how many people are gaining healthcare coverage as I’ve been known for doing the past seven years, lately I spend most of my time tracking how many people are getting sick and dying of the COVID-19 pandemic in the United States.
I’ve been posting nightly numbers on Twitter and figured I should cross-post them over here as well. If people think it’s a good idea, I’ll try to do so every evening. If not, I totally understand and won’t do so.
Here’s the link to my spreadsheet, which pulls in data from both WorldoMeters and the COVID Tracking Project, then adds a few additional data columns to each.
NOTE: Since June 2019, I’ve been contracted to do occasional healthcare data analysis & advocacy for the Center for American Progress.
