For those who don’t know: Many years ago the Koch brothers built a whole network of PACs and other groups to advance their agenda. They chose and financed Republican candidates to run for everything from school boards to city and county councils and state seats, training them and imbuing them with the Koch agenda. That's how DC is full of Republicans that owe the Koch empire their allegiance. It was a Koch group that wrote that Tax Break For the Rich bill that was passed in 2017, the Republicans didn't even read it, they just voted for it because they are owned by Koch Enterprises. The Heritage Foundation, Freedom Partners Chamber of Commerce, Americans for Prosperity, ALEC, Pacific Research Institute, Center to Protect Patient Rights, LIBRE Initiative, Concerned Veterans for America and Generation Opportunity, are all under Koch control.
Companies under the Koch banner are Invista, Georgia-Pacific, Molex, Flint Hills Resources, Koch Pipeline, Koch Fertilizer, Koch Minerals, Matador Cattle Company, and Guardian Industries. Every time you buy Angel Soft, Brawny, Quilted Northern, Mardi Gras, Sparkle or Dixie brands you're giving money to the Koch empire which hands it over to Republicans. There are many other brands, check for Georgia Pacific on the packaging, if it's there, put it back! Some of those are: StainMaster, Soft n Gentle, Vanity Fair, Flint Hills, American Greetings and Harmon Recycling.
Koch Sr. was pals with Hitler and a founder of the John Birch Society. David Koch died a few months ago. Charles Koch wanted cuts to the CDC and is furiously working against the recommendations to stay home and stay safe that most Americans still favor. He’s furious that his main sources of income are losing money. His groups have lobbied against environmental protection rules, Medicaid for low income people, and for small government according to Libertarian ideals which favor corporations over everything that makes our country a Representative Democracy. Koch believes that businessmen should be in charge, not politicians, especially wealthy businessmen, although he did not back Trump, knowing that the orange moron would not be the best instrument to achieve his ends.
