This is a doozy. Thick-Skinned Gravastars Vie to Replace Black Holes, in Theory from Space.com. Its a new theory that might account for some of the otherwise weird physical effects that Black Hole theory can't account for. OK, at that stage all effects are weird, but you get the drift.
The most intrigiung bit comes at the end as usual "Mottola and Mazur have taken their extreme idea to a mentally dizzying new level: The say our entire universe may be the interior of a giant gravastar." which, given a preceding comment, "Inside a gravastar, space-time would be "totally warped," makes sense, cause I'm damned sure this universe is getting more and more seriously weird.
