Last week, Daily Kos launched a campaign with Blue America called Repeal This! The campaign aims to run the following radio ad in the districts of House Republicans who have railed against the scourge of “government health care,” but who have no problem accepting government-subsidized health insurance for themselves:
Thanks to your remarkable efforts, we surpassed our goal of over $20,000 raised to help run these ads. Now, with most House Republicans about to get their sweet, sweet government health insurance on February 1st, it’s time to choose the districts where we will run the ads.
This is a tricky decision, since redistricting will change the composition of most Republican-held seats. As such, we enlisted the help of the political junkies over at Swing State Project to provide insight on which House Republicans will be most vulnerable in 2012. You can check out the Swing State Project discussion here. Also, check out this list of House Republicans who turned down the Congressional health insurance plan, since we can’t target them in this campaign.
We can add in the name of any member of Congress once we decide where to run the ads, so please take a minute to post a comment letting us know which Republican-held House districts you think are the best fit for this campaign.
