I dunno... you tell us. But after you watch it, come back and read the rest. There's news about Senator Lieberman "vowing" to run as an Indepdnent, debate information (July 6), and the critical fundraising deadline tomorrow.

Here's some of the reaction to the ad from local bloggers.
Wow. Ned Lamont's newest ad may be the best political ad I've ever seen. It features his students from Harding High School in Bridgeport, where Ned, a successful small business owner, was a volunteer teacher of an entrepreneurship class, co-teaching with an accounting teacher.
Which brings up a good point. Did you know that in addition to being a successful businessman, Ned is a volunteer teacher in an inner-city public school? Did you know that Senator Lieberman supports school vouchers? Keep that in mind when someone says, "The War! The War! Ned's campaign is about nothing more than the war!" Alright, more reax:
Wow, the ads from Ned Lamont keep getting better and better. With ads like this hitting the airwaves, Joe is in serious trouble.
And while the commercial is generating a good deal of buzz locally, that is the only news today. In fact, Senator Lieberman apparently vowed to run as an Independent this November to the beltway publication, The Cook Political Report
The second factor is that Lieberman, who readily admits disappointment and anger at the primary challenge, has vowed to run as an independent in the general election.
This is the first place I've seen that, so we'll see. Until now, Senator Lieberman has not made such a promise to local media or, more importantly, his own constituents.
More news:
The first debate is coming up next week. July 6 to be exact. BranfordBoy at My Left Nutmeg gives his take:
Looking forward to the "debate" between Joe Lieberman and Ned Lamont on July 6, I pinned on my old high school debating pin and pondered the outlook. There's good news and bad news.
The bad news is that Lamont is talking a big risk and one that is, arguably, unnecessary. With Joe's internal polling numbers plummeting (I have a good source), with his campaign imploding, with the usually docile MSM calling him on his lies and distortions, the wisest course for Lamont would have been to let nature take its course. [...]
It would be hard to find another debate that the junior Senator "lost." He doesn't have a reputation as a consummate politician for nothing, you know. He's had years of practice at the non-answer, the baseless innuendo, and the fine art of in close combat with sharpened rhetorical blades. Lamont, in contrast, is a real person. Plain speaking is his great strength and Joe knows how to turn that against him.
Ned will do just fine in the debate, but it's important to remember the Joe is a professional politician. That's kind of why his campaign is so angry at times. He feels as if someone is attempting to stake claim on a seat that is rightfully his, not the people of Connecticuts. The campaign has accepted numerous debate inviations -- this is the only one Senator Lieberman has taken us up on so far.
Finally, there is a fundraising deadline coming up tomorrow. Senator Lieberman's campaign has said our effort is nothing more than "smoke and mirrors." So we set a goal of 500 individual contributors instead of a dollar amount through the last week. We smashed through that in about 30 hours. So, we had to raise the bar. But isn't that you've been doing this whole campaign anyway, raising the bar? Please consider helping us cross the 750 contributor threshold, like Markos said, even if it's $10.
I'll be around for questions in the comments.
