We think we know Kos. So is Kos just a wonkish, political junkie who's made good on the web? If that's what you think, think again.
The an intrepid investigative reporter at the London Daily Mail knows better. This reporter -- who has chosen to remain anonymous, presumably to protect sources and out of fear of Kos's revenge -- has investigated Kos and now tells all. In a hard-hitting story in last Tuesday's paper, this brave journalist reveals the sordid truth about Kos that Kos doesn't want you to know.
Indeed, Kos has gone so far as to suppress the story from the Daily Mail website. But thanks to the resourceful folks at grab.com the truth will out. (For additional information, see here.)
The headline of the article alone is enough to explain Kos's concern:
more of the truth below the fold
A DEGREE OF DECADENCE ; Daddy's an Architect or a Solicitor. University Beckons. Once They'd Have Expected a Car or Pony to Mark the End of Exams. Now, Some Middleclass Girls Have a Very Different Idea of Fun
Considering the importance of their expose the reporters begin their account on appropriately dramatic note:
AT FIRST it's hard to make out exactly what is going on. But even in the darkness of the crowded nightclub, it's obvious that the couple are having sex.
A group of men look on, cheering their approval.
The room is crammed with women wearing nothing more than bikinis. Most of the men are stripped to the waist. And covering everything and everyone is a thick layer of foam.
A seedy venue in Soho or Amsterdam?
Hardly. I am on the popular Greek island of Kos, in the resort of Kardamena.
Secretly in league with Tony Blair, Kos is out to ruin "predominantly middleclass British teenagers, many of whom are on their first holiday without their parents." The news report continues:
During a week on Kos, I met public schoolgirls who admitted sleeping with several men in a few days; to having sex while their female friends slept in the same room; to drinking until they were violently ill. But as we shall see, the physical damage wrought by good old-fashioned alcohol poisoning is the least of their worries.
A blonde 18-year old using the name "Sarah" admits:
'All of us have pulled a couple of boys each night. Katie has a boyfriend, but the rest of us have all had holiday romances. Kos is great It's amazing being away without my parents. They'd flip if they knew what I'd been up to.' Her parents - her father is an architect - are among thousands who pay for their teenage daughters to go on holiday, often as a reward for working hard for A-levels. They see it as an opportunity for their children to gain some independence as well as enjoy themselves, but there is little doubt that most have no idea what really goes on in resorts like this.
It gets worse.
Most girls who come to Kardamena - many of them still at school - have been brought up in thoroughly respectable homes, and many attend single-sex private schools. They are used perhaps to a glass of wine with dinner, a few vodkas in the local pub - if they can get served.
Faced with the chance to party all night and drink as much as they can, surrounded by hordes of predatory men, it is not hard to see why these girls' morals appear to have been left at home.
The story goes on to reveal how Kos and Blair are preying on "naive young" women.
'Back home you have to drink in moderation because you know your parents will go mad, but here there is no one to watch what you do. We have both had bladder infections which we think are from drinking too much, and one night I got so drunk I passed out on a sun lounger outside a beachfront bar.
Jessica couldn't wake me, so I spent the night there.' Given that packs of drunken men roam the beach late at night, the idea of this naive young woman lying defenceless for hours is chilling.
The local police have been suborned. No doubt Blair and Kos have used their connections with Bush to cover things up. The Daily Mail reporter, however, obtained a significant leak from an unnamed source, identified only as a "local police officer."
One local police official confirmed that although there have been only around three rapes reported in the past few years on Kos, there are rumours of many more.
The leaker's real purpose, however, appears to be to exonerate the Kos-Blair-Bush conspiracy:
'But if the girls in question were too drunk to remember any details about the man or what he looked like, there would be nothing we could do about it.
The result of this degenerate Kos-Blair-Bush conspiracy is as vile as it is predictable:
Sadly for many of these girls, freedom means nothing more than shedding morals and inhibitions as easily as they shed their clothes for another night out wearing little more than a bikini.
Kos must be brought to account. We need full disclosure of where he really goes when he says he's out traveling the country.
As the Daily Mail expose makes clear: so long as Kos is left free, no young British woman is safe.
