Kos is right to be cautious in looking at the Q poll: GOTV is all, here. Nonetheless, because I'm in Florida (though you can
contribute to Lamont from anywhere), I'm going to engage in a little speculation about the day after the primary, if Lamont wins.
First, Senator "Sore Loser" Lieberman will talk about his respect for the process, of his respect for Connecticut voters, and his respect for Lamont. "Sore Loser" Joe will congratulate Lamont on his primary victory.
Then, Senator "Sore Loser" Lieberman will say that he respects the whole electorate even more, and because of that, he is filing to be an "independent Democrat" in the general election. Because we have to respect the process, he'll say.
Of course, if Lieberman wins, Lamont will support him in the primary. But according to Lieberman's logic, shouldn't Lamont also file to run as an independent?
